Gone Rural is the Swazi handcraft company that set up boMake Rural Projects. We maintain a close relationship with our founding sister.

Gone Rural uses creativity and design to ignite change on a community level through ethical, handmade products. Begun as one woman’s vision to empower women in the most remote areas of Eswatini (Swaziland), it has grown to offer income to more than 780 rural women artisans.

Inspired by the lutindzi grass of the mountains of Eswatini (Swaziland) and the women leaders of rural communities, Gone Rural transforms the indigenous art of weaving into high-quality products that are showcased and loved all over the world.Learn more about Gone Rural and the weavers, and browse their products at www.gonerural.co.sz.
